Scholarship Coverage
The advantages of receiving a scholarship from Budapest Metropolitan University are as follows:
- The Excellence Scholarship awardees are eligible for a 500 EUR semester discount and a 1000 EUR annual discount.
- The following requirements must be met for the recipients of the Excellence Scholarship to be eligible for the discount during the remainder of their studies:
- Excellent academic performance
- In the second semester, they do a 60-hour internship per semester at one of METU’s administrative offices. The duties could involve planning student events, participating in higher education fairs, or performing sales and marketing responsibilities.
Eligibility Criteria for Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships:
- Required Languages: English
- Eligible Countries: All World Countries
Applicants showing particular academic excellence /Bachelor’s level/:
- English level min. C1
- Excellent performance during the application process Skype interview.
- If a math test is required, the applicant must score at least 80%.
- For art and design programs, the professors should give the design portfolio a high ranking (minimum 30/35).
- Minimum 80% in high school grades and GPA, such as
- SAT 1280/1600
- IB 6/7
- Cambridge IGCSE minimum of 2 A’s or 4 AS levels.
- We also accept high school diplomas from any other country or region, but the GPA must always be greater than 80%.
Applicants showing particular academic excellence /Master’s level/:
- English level min. C1.
- Excellent performance during the application process Skype interview.
- For art and design programs, the professors should give the design portfolio a high ranking (minimum 30/35).
- Minimum 80% on your bachelor’s degree, if it was earned at your former university. First Class Bachelor Hons Degree.
- The Admission Committee will make the final determination about the distribution of the scholarships.
- 30 students can receive scholarships at most.
