The QuestBridge Scholarships 2024 – 2025 are fully funded scholarships for students in the United States. Seniors in high school are eligible for these scholarships. The complete four-year scholarship, worth more than $200,000, is covered by the award.
By providing matching scholarships and tuition grants to participants in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund, the state’s prepaid tuition plan, the Texas Match the Promise Foundation encourages families to save for college.
At qualified Texas public colleges and universities, Promise Fund tuition units represent a fixed amount of undergraduate resident tuition plus school-wide mandatory fees. In order to augment participant contributions made to the fund during the current Promise Fund sales period, Match the Promise will grant eligible recipients Promise Fund tuition units.
The National College Match scholarship is provided by QuestBridge in collaboration with 40 top colleges and universities in the United States. No parent contribution or student loans are required because the scholarship pays the entire cost of attendance for each college, including tuition, housing and board, travel expenses, and books and supplies. However, keep in mind that the scholarship may require student participation in the form of job study or savings.
Two Levels of Scholarships
Matching Scholarship
The same type of tuition units will be matched up to $500 in participant tuition unit purchases. Scholarship recipients whose families make no more than $75,000 will receive a two-to-one match. All other scholarship recipients will be matched one to one.
Promise Scholarship
There will be a one-time payout of tuition units worth $2,000 at current prices. Up to 150 applicants with the highest scores will be granted matching scholarships. Promise Scholarships will be given to the top five applicants.

Scholarship Coverage

Eligibility Criteria for QuestBridge Scholarships
Candidates must meet all of the criteria listed below in order to be eligible for QuestBridge scholarships:
- Required Language(s): English
- Eligible Countries: the USA (High school students enrolled in a U.S. high school, whether they are a citizen or permanent resident.)
- Primarily A’s in the most difficult courses offered, which are frequently Honors, AP, or IB level courses
- ACT composite scores over 28
- SAT or PSAT scores over 1310
- Class rank in the top 5–10% of the graduating class.
- Through essays and recommendation letters, you can demonstrate your excellent writing skills, intellectual curiosity, and tenacity.
These numbers should give you a decent understanding of what QuestBridge is looking for in a student, even if these are not rigid requirements and each application will be taken into account in its own context.
How to Apply for QuestBridge Scholarships
For application guidelines for QuestBridge scholarships, kindly follow these steps:
Material Required:
- The online application for National College Match, which consists of two essays and short answer questions
- Two recommendation letters from teachers of fundamental academic disciplines
- Your high school counselor’s Secondary School Report
- A school profile, which is optional but advised
- A diploma from high school
- Any results from standardized tests. Test results from the SAT or ACT are strongly advised.
Applicants submit their applications around the end of September. Up to 12 college partners will be ranked by candidates in October. Applicants will learn if they have been chosen as finalists later in October. Then, the finalists will provide more materials for the particular universities they have ranked. Those who matched with a college in December can unwind knowing they have a full four-year scholarship to their chosen institution!
Without paying any application costs, applicants who were not chosen as finalists in October or who did not match with a college can reapply to the same schools through QuestBridge Regular Decision.
