Fireboy’s Career evolved when he was in University, Obafemi Awolowo University, He began spending more time writing songs, and performing in the school and later got acquainted with Nigeria Veteran Rapper and YBNL Boss Olamide, he was impressed by Fireboy’s God’s gift and decided to sign him into YBNL.
He rose to fame after the release of his melodious song Jealous on the 25th Of March 2019 under the YBNL Family, the song was trending all over Nigeria and the world at large, which gained him more fans.
His second hit song, What If I Say, was released 14th Of June 2019. The song, which Pheelz produced, and the music video were shot and directed by TG Omori.
After a few months, he returned with a new mind-blowing hit tagged, King, on the 1st Of August 2019 which had thousands of streams days after its release.

D’Prince later reached out to Rema. In 2019, he signed Rema to Jonzing World, a Mavin Records subsidiary. So after some months in Mavin Records, Rema dropped his studio EP which he titled Rema. The EP houses 4 amazing hit songs like Iron Man, Corny, Why, and Dumebi.
