The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Monday, May 29 with several heads of state and high-ranking officials from various countries.
In a Twitter post made by Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant on Digital Communications to the President, welcomed the United States’ delegation ahead of the event.
Reacting to the announcement, American mental health counselor, Dr Jeffrey Guterman who is a major critic of Bola Tinubu’s emergence as President-elect took to his Twitter page to share his thoughts.
He slammed the U.S. delegation for honouring the invitation, adding that Tinubu’s winning the 2023 presidential election does not show the true reflection of democracy.
Dr Guterman tweeted;
