‘Things Celebrities Do And Get Away With’ – Reactions As Burna Boy’s Security Shoot Man for Confronting Singer Over His Wife (Photos)

Grammy winner, Burna Boy is currently embroiled in controversy after his security crew broke the law by shooting two individuals at a nightclub for assaulting the musician.

Five police officers linked to Burna Boy have been detained by the Lagos State Police Commissioner’s Special Squad for attempted homicide.

It is reported that on Wednesday, June 8, Burna Boy’s escorts, shot two guys, Irebami Lawrence and one Tolu, at Cubana Chief Priest’s club, Club Cubana on Victoria Island, Lagos.

Multiple witnesses claimed that Burna Boy was in the Vip area with 3 ladies when he noticed another woman. He allegedly told Ibrahim to invite the woman to come with him.

Burna Boy apparently made new passes at the woman after a few minutes. This upset her spouse even more, as did his buddies at the club.

Lawrence, 27, was shot in the leg during the incident, while Tolu, his friend, was struck in the head by a bullet. There was a ruckus in the club as a result of this.

“As things were getting heated, Ibrahim brought out his service pistol and shot multiple times while Burna Boy was laughing”, said a senior policeman.

Reports further indicated that Burna Boy and his entourage then drove to one of his houses on the Elegushi end of the Lekki-Epe expressway before heading to Lekki Phase 1.

Nigerian are not happy about this event as some bemoaned how celebrities get away with crimes in the country.
