The management of Chicken Republic, the restaurant were two security officers were sacked for dancing and causing a spectable while on duty have debunked reports that the young men have been sacked.
Recall that 042jam posted a video a few days earlier in which the two security guards stationed at the Chicken Republic in Aba were dancing in front of diners who were enjoying their meals, the two of them performed scripted dancing routines.
It was alleged that the management had relieved the two security men called happi boys from their posts and their decision sparked outrage on social media following their viral video.
Their loyal customers threatened to stop patronizing their restaurant if they refuse to call the boys back to work.
In a statement by chicken Republic, they clearly stated that men were not sacked but rather sent out for retraining.

Meanwhile, the boys have been offered new jobs by Ossai Ovie Success, the Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Delta State governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa.
“I have a job for them at Delta First Media. I heard they were sacked by Chicken Republic fast food because they were dancing on duty. They actually succeeded in bringing more customers to the Chicken republic with their dancing video but with the sack, Chicken Republic fast food just succeeded in losing more customers.
“We are leaving in an era of social media and those guys should be appreciated by Chicken Republic fast food for free promotion not sack. Please if you can reach them, tell them I have a Job for them at Delta First Media Asaba. Let’s spread love , don’t let people lose their job because the country hard.”
