A widower hawker’s heart has been touched by the benevolence of well-meaning Nigerians.
The mother of two who lost her husband 5 years ago has resorted to selling on the streets to put food on the table for her family as help was not forthcoming from her immediate relatives and family members of her husband.
A lovely woman who uses the Instagram handle JoJo of Lele presented her with the N355,000 that worried people had raised.
After the woman was photographed selling bottles of water outside in the rain, she started making generous contributions.
People agreed to donate some money to the woman out of compassion, and JoJo presented it to her.
In a video shared by an influencer identified as @jossyniesnie, the delighted widow can be seen jumping with glee after receiving the donations.
Sharing the video she wrote;
“Guys am super excited to tell you all that the sum of N355,000 was contributed for the woman selling inside the rain omo she can’t even control her happiness .God bless @mufasatundeednut and @donjazzy for the repost, they made it possible thank you so much sirs. And God bless everyone that contributed thank you all so much all you do shall continue to prosper “
