My Parents Have Lived In Greece Since I Was 9 – Black Sherif

Ghanaian Hiplife/Trap music sensation, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, well known as Black Sherif has opened up about the whereabouts of his parents.

Black Sherif made the disclosure when he appeared on GhOne TV’s morning show with Serwaa Amihere.

Sherif was there to obviously promote his Second Sermon track featuring Burna Boy but Serwaa enticed him to spill some unknown details about his family to his fans.

Serwaa quizzed him about the current location of his parents.

“My mother is not dead, She’s in Greece” Black Sherif said.

Auntie Marie, he explained, is his mother’s name, and she is still alive and well in Greece. He mentioned that his father lives in Greece with his mother, and that both parents are happy of his musical achievement at home.

Sister Mariama, on the other hand, is a loving cousin with whom he developed a strong bond.
Sister Mariama died after falling at home while observing the dawn prayers. Because she was his ‘favorite person,’ Black Sherif thought the second sermon should be used to pay a glowing tribute to her memory.

After completing his senior high school education, Black Sherif was urged to join his parents in Greece, but he declined and remained in Ghana. He stated that he wanted to concentrate on his music career in Ghana, and his decision has clearly been rewarded. Black Sherif is now enrolled at the University of Professional Studies as a level 200 student (Upsa).
