I Went All The Way To America To Find Love Because I Was Tired Of Cooking In Nigeria – Korra Obidi
Popular Nigerian dancer and social media influencer, Korra Obidi has revealed the main reason why she had to relocate to the States from Nigeria.
A lot of people have different reasons why they migrate from their various countries to the land of the Whiteman. While some travel to seek greener pastors, others also go there to find love and make a family.
Korra Obidi who has been making headlines for some weeks due to the collapse of her marriage and the dramatic scene that came along with it has disclosed why she also migrated to the States.
According to the dancer, the aspect of the Nigerian culture which comes with the roles of a woman in the African home to cook, do other house chores, and also greet family members from both sides puts her off, hence her relocation to the States.
In her words..
“WHY DID I GO ALL THE WAY TO AMERICA TO FIND LOVE? ONE OF THE REASONS IS BECAUSE I HATED SLICING ON CHRISTMAS DAY. I AM NOT GOING TO LIE. AND I WAS TIRED OF KNEELING DOWN TO GREET EVERY TIME.”
