Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter, Chukwuka Ekweani, professionally known as Ckay has spilled that Davido played huge role in his success.
The music star made it revelation during his interview in India, where he recently performed his global hits ‘Love Nwantiti’ and ‘Emiliana’ to thousands of his Indian fans.
When asked by the interviewer if the music collaboration he did with Davido while he was coming up played any role in his career, CKay admitted that the collaboration and the co-sign he received from Davido helped a lot.
The singer said Davido was more than happy to offer a helping hand, and their relationship blossomed into a friendship after the project.
The ‘felony’ hitmaker said, “The collaboration with Davido was extremely important in my opinion because I feel like, at that time, I needed a co-sign from someone who was very established artist and Davido was more than happy to do that”.
